I'm so getting a kick out of the new "voice" of the Metro. There was a big competition earlier this year to pick a new person to do all the fun Metro announcements like, "Doors Closing" and "Please move to the center of the car."

Well, it was never reported in the mainstream media, but the person chosen -- among hundreds who competed--is some big dyke from Woodbridge, VA. (The Washington Blade has the story HERE.)
